DEEPSONIC™ Dedicated AI Chip
The Sphere platform uses two chips in each hearing aid. The DEEPSONIC chip has a single purpose: separating speech from background noise in real time using a Deep Neural Network (DNN). It does not share processing resources with any other function.
Spheric Speech Clarity 2.0
Extracts, enhances, and integrates speech from voices in any direction simultaneously. Independent testing by HearAdvisor ranked the Sphere platform 3.08 points above the average of other prescription hearing aids tested for speech in noise — an exceptional margin.
Up to 56 Hours Battery Life
The Ultra firmware update (released October 22, 2025) extended battery life significantly. Up to 56 hours per charge with mild hearing loss and no streaming. In full Spheric AI mode with streaming, battery life is approximately 11 hours.
Universal Bluetooth Connectivity
Connects to iOS and Android devices directly — no intermediary streamer required. Pairs with up to 2 Bluetooth devices simultaneously. The ERA chip delivers Bluetooth transmission at twice the range of previous Phonak models.
AutoSense OS 7.0
Automatically detects and adapts to your listening environment — restaurant, outdoor, quiet room, music, speech in noise. AutoSense OS 7.0 was trained on significantly more real-world listening scenarios than previous versions.
EasyGuard™ and IP68 Rating
EasyGuard™ is a new dome and receiver protection system introduced with Ultra. The sound-transmitting membrane can be wiped clean without replacing wax filters. The device is IP68 rated for dust and water resistance.
